Taskforce on Knowledge Cumulation

The Taskforce on Knowledge Cumulation seeks to bring together scholars that share a common interest in making ESG research – and environmental governance research more broadly – more cumulative.  The Taskforce will be launched at the Taskforce and Meeting Day of the Earth System Governance Conference in September 2021 in Bratislava. It welcomes everyone who is interested in joining this exciting endeavor! To join, reach out to either:

  • Jens Newig, Leuphana University, Lüneburg, Germany. Email: newig@uni.leuphana.de
  • Michael Rose, Leuphana University, Lüneburg, Germany. Email: rose@uni.leuphana.de

Asia-Pacific Working Group

This working group seeks to initiate collective and collaborative dialogue and discussion among scholars (from early career to senior scholars) who are interested in adding regional perspectives and insights of and from the Asia-Pacific region into Earth System Governance (ESG) research.  For more information about the working group and how to join, please contact the coveners: Annisa Triyanti (a.triyanti@uu.nl) and Paul Harris (pharris@eduhk.hk) or fill in the survey here: https://forms.gle/ENv4J5pio8rZdpS7A

Taskforce on the Sustainable Development Goals

The taskforce builds on an established network of leading scholars engaged in the study and practice of the Sustainable Development Goals, following the organization of the so far largest international research conference on the Sustainable Development Goals at Utrecht University in June 2020 and the edition of the SDG Impact Assessment that will be released in early 2022 as part of the Earth System Governance book series with Cambridge University Press. Interested and would like to join? Please contact the taskforce convenors by e-mailing SDG@earthsystemgovernance.org
